Pongour Waterfall
It is in Tan Hoi commune, Duc Trong district, 45km from Dalat, 7km from the National road No.20. It is one of the most beautiful and impressive waterfall in the western Highlands with a height of over 20m, its side is a hundred meters and its base is over 10m so thousands of people can have a good time here. Tourist expert haven’t hesitated to name Pongour “The best waterfall of the Southern Zone”. According to a legend of the minorities, this waterfall is related to the story of Lady ka Nai-a pretty chief of tribe who had built a prosperous life for the K’ho. The legend said that was the place where the animals left their traces of their horns. Pogour has a festival every year on the 15th of the Lunar January and this day is a spring day for Dalat Lam Dong youth with many traditional games, traditional cultural festivities of local people
